Weiden+Kennedy continues to offer their support to FOUR YEARS. GO.  We are working with them to conceptualize ways to use new media and online initiatives to inspire individuals and organizations worldwide.

Individual Commitments

We are encouraging individuals from around the world to share their next step to setting humanity on the path toward a sustainable, just, and fulfilling future.  These commitments are plotted on a world map that visually displays the spread of FOUR YEARS. GO. View the map »

At this time, we are just collecting commitments.  In the future we will help to coordinate action worldwide by building functionality that will enable individuals to connect with each other as well as oganizations based on interest.

Allied Organizations

We are encouraging organizations who feel an alignment in values with FOUR YEARS. GO. to become Allied Organizations and commit to setting goals in their work to set humanity on a new path by 2014.  Our goal is to provide these organizations with tools and resources to empower their work.   Thus far we have partnered with Maestro Conference who has offered free use of their conferencing service to all Allied Organizations.  Additionally we encourage Allied Organizations to submit their stories to us about their work.  We then publish them on our blog and share them with our online communities. What’s to come

We envision empowering our Allied Organizations with many tools to support their work.  These tools will come in the form of enhanced functionality on the website that will enable them to connect and collaborate.  We will also work with Allied Organizations and companies to provide additional services to these Allied Organizations.  Finally, we will enhance our search functionality to enable visitors to easily browse and find organizations based on intuitive categories.

Online Communities

We’re continually building online communities on Twitter and Facebook to inspire a global audience, share information and resources, and catalyze important discussions.  We also have communities on Facebook Spanish, YouTube, Vimeo, Linked In, and Wiser Earth.

FOUR YEARS. GO. 2.0

Our goal is to build version 2 of the FOUR YEARS. GO. website in 2011.  This version of the website will implement technologies that will empower individuals and organizations to connect, collaborate, and support a collective effort to shift humanity onto a new path by 2014.

Offline Initiatives

Our website acts as a means to inspire and empower a shift in humanity, but the real change happens offline where people are able to interact and work collectively to catalyze change.

Volunteer Retreats

FOUR YEARS. GO. is supported by a broad team of volunteers from around the world who collaborate to spread the word of the campaign, build the structure and direction, and conceptualize new ways to generate the shift that humanity needs.

Every so often, these volunteers gather in person to work together to further the work of FOUR YEARS. GO. Our last gathering was in July, 2010 in Marin County, California.

What’s to come

The FOUR YEARS. GO. volunteers will continue to self organize to build retreats as they are needed. It is our goal to diversify the representation at these gatherings to include people from every corner of the globe involved in every type of transformative work.

Leadership Summits

FOUR YEARS. GO. is working with other organizations to bring together leaders from across the globe to discuss the most pressing issues of our time and conceptualize ways to shift our current trends in a way that will lead to a sustainable, just, and fulfilling future.
