Occupy Cafe is dedicated to expanding and connecting #Occupy conversations here in the US and throughout the world. Occupy Cafe was born out of the efforts of a group of people who first met through the Four Years Go campaign. We share a common vision of a global “shift” or “great transition” that is under way. Meaningful change emerges when we, the people, stand, speak and act together, cooperatively, collaboratively and synergistically.
Inspired by the world café model for large group conversations, this will be an ongoing event, open to everyone.
Occupy Cafe exists to inclusively connect people with people, to share and listen. All viewpoints are welcome from as many diverse locations as possible. The more we share and hear our individual and collective needs, wants and visions, the more powerful our initiatives to create real change become.
The creators of Occupy Café refer to themselves as “Stewards.” It is with deep respect and honor that they invite you to their network, engage in the global conversation and participate on an upcoming call (details below) and on their website: www.occupycafe.org.
Occupy Cafe’s live conversation space is now open for three hours per week, with plans to expand to twenty hours or more in the near future.
There are two three-hour calls with 90-minute rounds.
The first call is Monday, October 31, 2011: 8AM-11AM (11AM-2PM ET and 4PM-7PM GMT)
