Five Exciting FOUR YEARS. GO. Internships for Fall 2010 – Apply Now

With the end of Summer in sight and Fall right around the corner, we at the FOUR YEARS. GO. office are going through transitions of our own.  The first generation of FOUR YEARS. GO. interns are getting ready to leave their legacy behind and move forth in their lives.  These interns have brought crucial support to FOUR YEARS. GO. during an important phase of our growth.  Now, as we prepare for their departure, we look forward to seeking out the second generation of FOUR YEARS. GO. interns.  We have 5 new internships available that span a wide array of areas and skill sets.

FOUR YEARS. GO. internships are special because they entail more than just completing tedious work around the office.  Our interns become an integral part of our team, becoming immersed in the thick of the campaign.  We encourage our interns to take initiative and find their niche in FOUR YEARS. GO.  Our internships provide the opportunity to work with a fun and exciting team in the Pachamama Alliance offices, while developing new skills and relationships that will prove invaluable in future work.

All of our internships are currently open to be filled as soon as possible.  If you are interested, please check out the descriptions below and submit your application as described.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Sound like five great opportunities to intern with Four Years. Go! I assume the interns will be eligible to participate in that wonderful raffle on Nov 17?

In my blog, I profile opportunities, particularly for work in the San Francisco area, as many Web 2.0 experts-of-the future like the thought of living there (I did, for my first job!). The Code for America Fellowships for Municipal Gov2.0 is just ending the application for 2010-2011 in San Francisco, that is an example of what I like to cover as an FYI for young people or their family members who might read my blog. I’d like to mention Four Years. Go next
    .
And my November slot is already booked with the KFC Scholars program for recently graduated high school seniors! But in the interim, let me know if I could mention your site and this opportunity. I blog about public health (not the ethics as much as the epidemiology), a few dot net code pointers here and there, GPU’s and PhysX, and of course, public service.

Does an intern have to work/live near or can they be a ‘distance intern’ and be a part of the team from afar?
