Earth Partners Foundation launches “Bike the Earth” to showcase & champion One Planet Living in the run up to the London Olympics & United Nations Earth Summit 2012

Traversing the Globe, a team of cyclists will draw attention to sustainable ideas enshrined in One Planet Living:

• delivering the Awakening the Dreamer symposium
• spreading the word about Transition Towns
• publicising Four Years Go
• and seeking out examples of best sustainable practice en route.

When we arrive at the United Nations Earth Summit 2012, we will have helped trail-blaze the One Planet Olympics (London, 2012), and will have gathered ideas from around the world (uploaded to the internet), equipped communities to get onto their own sustainable path, inspired decision makers to think big, and haveeducated people, including ourselves, on how humanity can survive at our finest hour.

And hopeful, optimistic possibilities, eg Transition Towns and EcoTeams helping to galvanise the world’s attention (in communities en route) to what does ‘One Planet’ mean, regarding the One Planet Olympics.
