FOUR YEARS. GO. Around the Web
Blogger Steve Pavlina has echoed the FOUR YEARS. GO.’s rallying cry on his site, encouraging his followers to watch the campaign video and visit the FOUR YEARS. GO. website to declare what actions they are going to take over the next four years to help bring about the needed shift in humanity’s future.
In the article “The Power of Networks: Effecting Greater Impact in the Social Change Movement” published in the Huffington Post, Ellen Friedman, Executive Vice President of Tides Foundation, gives a shout-out to FOUR YEARS. GO. She writes,
The power of networks to move a global change agenda forward cannot be underestimated. The hope that is represented by some of the emerging global networks (see www.avaaz.org or www.fouryearsgo.org) is remarkable. Supporting these networks is the work we all need to do if we want change to happen on the scale the world needs it to.
“Campaign Aims to Change the Course of History in Four Years” by Derek Markham, author of naturalpapa.com, was featured on GreenLivingIdeas.com, as well as GreenandClean.org, Wellsphere, and other sites. In his article, Markham writes,
As the Chinese proverb says ‘If we don’t change our direction, we are likely to end up where we are headed,’ and in humanity’s case where we are headed is clearly some type of ecological and social collapse. So the question is ‘What will it take to change our direction?’ The first step for us as individuals is to commit – commit to the journey toward a just and peaceful world. Head over to Four Years. Go. and join with your fellow earthlings in mapping your journey to a new bright future.
MiniMonos not only made FOUR YEARS. GO. a Friday Featured Friend on their site, it also joined the campaign as an allied organization and encouraged its reader audience to take sustainable actions over the next four years and share them with the rest of the MiniMonos community. Here is what MiniMonos had to say about FOUR YEARS. GO.:
What is so incredible about Four Years. Go., is that it is not an organization but a collaborative circle of allies and partners, a circle that is growing ever wider as more people join (already, over 600 organizations have joined!)…. Noting that the signs of ecological and social collapse are already unfolding around us, 4YG seeks to be a beacon for highlighting our ability to consciously choose and participate in the design of our future, instead of having the choices foisted on us from sheer necessity of survival….It has been a real pleasure to share this inspirational call-to-action from 4YG and we’re looking forward to continuing to be a part of this incredible transformational shift.
